in 2018 I made a haunting granular synthesis of Nina Simone's already quite haunting "Black is the Color of My True Love's Hair." I used Max MSP to do this.
For the visual/cover art I created a repetitive pattern and superimposed it of Charles “Teenie” Harris' Double exposure of Nina Simone on piano, and guitar player, performing on stage of Hilton Hotel ballroom (December 1968 - January 1969).
